I'm Ruxandra Vasilescu, the creative force behind Boho Balayage.

With over two decades of experience in the beauty industry, primarily in NYC, I’ve honed my skills behind the chair and spa management. Specializing in hair color, I drew from years of dedicated practice in Manhattan’s trendsetting salons. However, discovering Cezanne, a transformative and safety-focused smoothing treatment, inspired me to become a Cezanne Artiste Educator.

In 2019, I found my creative home at Le Panache Loft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where I thrived as a master hair colorist. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my world shifted as the salon was forced to close its doors. Determined not to let adversity hold me back, I seized the opportunity to embark on a solo journey. That’s when Boho Balayage was born—proof that every cloud has a silver lining. It was the start of my journey into independence, and I haven’t looked back since!
